The Deluxe Mera Peak Expedition is a premier trekking and climbing adventure trip in the Everest region of Nepal. Mera peak is said to be one of the highest trekking peaks, situated at an altitude of 6476m. Technically less difficult than other trekking peaks, this peak is a very popular trekking peak in Nepal. NETTA is a 25-year old expert local Sherpa trekking and mountaineering agency based in Kathmandu that offers a 21-day fully guided special cost package for Mera peak climbing. Even though Mera peak is not harder to summit or even if trekking is not much harder to reach, the views from the top of Mera peak are unforgettable. Once you are at the top of Mera peak (6476m), you will be mesmerized by the mesmerizing panoramic Himalayan views of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and other grand peaks of the Himalaya.
Trekking and peak climbing like Mera Peak, which is an adventure trekking and climbing journey of a lifetime, starts and ends in Kathmandu. After two days of jet lag or cultural city sightseeing or trip preparation, you will take a 35-minute mountain flight to Lukla Airport, which is known as the Gateway to Mount Everest and other Himalayan peaks for trekking and climbing. From Lukla, there are two trails to trek toward Mera peak. Our package itinerary slowly starts through the less crowded trail of Panggom, the local Sherpa village. Before heading to the summit, we will already have acclimatized well to adjust to high altitude sickness. We have set up two full days of acclimatization at Thangnak and Khare before we push to the summit of Mera Peak. Please remember that two days in Thangnak and two days in Khare are very important acclimatization days and don’t avoid them.
Leaving the Khare, our Mera peak itinerary follows one overnight stay at Mera base camp and another overnight stay at High camp. Technically, Mera peak is said to be not that hard to climb. However, the route to reach Mera peak is longer than other trekking peaks of the Everest region. After a successful summit of Mera peak, you will return back to Khare and follow the trailhead to Lukla via a shorter way. The lodges or guest houses on the Mera Peak route are not as luxurious as those on the regular Everest base camp route, but we will accommodate you at the best available lodges or guest houses with hot showers or attached bathrooms, so this excellent climbing expedition is known as the Deluxe Mera Peak expedition. This is excellent and high-class oriented trekking and peak climbing in Nepal with us.
