Annapurna I (8091m) is the world's tenth tallest mountain, followed by Annapurna II, III, IV, and other Annapurna ranges such as Annapurna South.The trek to the base camp of these Annapurna ranges, from where climbers start climbing those peaks, is called Annapurna base camp. The Deluxe Annapurna Base Camp Trek is surrounded by dozens of snowy mountain ranges and is located 40 kilometers north of Pokhara in a high, glacial Himalayan trekking and hiking area. Under the supervision of ACAP (Annapurna conservation area project), this popular trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal is also known as the Annapurna sanctuary trek.
Situated at an altitude of 4130m, the Deluxe Annapurna Base Camp trek is the second busiest, fascinating, and moderate level of trek that combines the two most important trekking routes—Ghorepani Poonhill and Annapurna Base Camp. This trek is one of the nearest trekking trails from Pokhara city, from where you will drive in and drive out of the starting and ending points.

The Deluxe Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is a moderate-level trek that begins at 890m in Pokhara with a jeep ride to Thikhedunga, from which you hike up to Ghorepani Poonhill (3210m) and then to 4130m at Annapurna base camp. The best part of this trek is that you will start the trek from one place and end it in another.
The best season for the Deluxe Annapurna Base Camp Trek
Nepal has four distinct weather seasons: spring, summer (or monsoon), autumn, and winter. The best months for trekking in the Annapurna region are October to December, during the fall season, and early winter. Another recommended month in the spring season is March to May or until mid-June before the monsoon season starts from mid-June to mid-September.
